Description

Starting from a young age, Diana Frances Spencer displayed an uncanny ability to put people at ease, and her clear love of children set the stage for her most important role, that of “Mummy. Complemented by an array of revealing personal photographs, the narrative alternates between heartfelt nostalgia about the seedier side of Manhattan’s go-go scene and funny quips about her unconventional stage performances. In the years following Princess Diana’s fatal car crash on August 31, 1997, her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, remained notably silent about her tragic death, refusing to make any sort of official statement about their grief. Entertaining and persuasive,” ( Publishers Weekly ) this is the first big book about the private Diana, the mother of two princes.

I cannot suspend my disbelief and trust any author that much, whether it be Patterson or anybody else in the general bestselling marketplace.I especially have a new found respect for Harry since the negative media surrounding his and Megan's departure from Royalty and Great Britain. Poor Daddy suffered a stroke in September, just as Diana was starting a cooking class, but thank goodness he’s stabilized.
