The Gin Guide Review : Mistral Gin is a characterful and intriguing gin inspired by the flavours of Provence. Based on our knowledge of the terroirs of Provence and our know-how in the blending of wines, we decided to launch a new artisanal approach for this gin.

Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade. A far cry from the transitory “summer drink”, MistralGin has all the strengths of an exceptional gin.Basil, fennel, mint, eucalyptus, pink grapefruit and thyme are macerated and distilled separately to capture their most powerful flavours. Mistral Gin is distilled in Provence and six of the twelve botanicals used in its production are native to the region. Firstly, a single-shot gin is made by distilling the six traditional gin botanicals together ( cardamon, grains of paradise, pink pepper, juniper, iris and coriander). Botanicals: Maniguette, Coriander, Cardamon, Iris Root, Juniper, Pink Pepper, Eucalyptus, Fennel, Basil, Pink Grapefruit, Mint and Thyme Hand crated in small batches.

Using botanicals from the land carved by the Mistral wind the light pink gin features the botanicals of Provence with a fresh citrus flourish and by adding your favourite mixer you can enjoy a new experience from Provence lifestyle wherever you are! When you come in, you can find your new favourite bottle at our tasting counter, hire glasses, flutes and chiller bins free* and pick up some ice. Distilled in Provence, France, this pale salmon-pink coloured gin is based on neutral grape spirit redistilled with 12 botanicals: juniper berries, coriander seeds, orris root, pink grapefruit, cardamom, grains of paradise, pink peppercorns, eucalyptus, fennel, basil, mint and thyme. By blending together the tradition of gin with herbs of Provence, we are proud to elaborate the first rosé dry gin in Provence as a summary of our region with a refreshing premium gin. This gin is the result of the passion for all things Provence and is created using skills and knowledge that extend from a 100 year old distillery in the heart of Provence to the busy gin bars of London, the home of modern craft gin.The Roberts family took charge in 1978 – third generation distillers who’ve inherited a tradition of gathering local medicinal herbs from the Lure mountains in Haute Provence for their liqueurs and spirits. The pink hue apparently comes from the pink grapefruit which we presume are also macerated after distillation. In addition to rosé, Provence also produces red and white wines, as well as fortified wines such as Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise.
