I am not great at cutting doll hair (nor should I have to), so her choppy waves worked well for me because I didn't have to worry about making sure everything was even. I've seen some excellent cuts on IG where the owner left her hair smooth and it looks fantastic, but I wanted something that both looked like the show and was something I could pull off. Toralei Stripe looks freaky-fab in a plaid skirt with claw-mark details and a cropped moto jacket worn over a T-Shirt with a scary-cute cat graphic. After cutting, I wet her hair and gave her a conditioning treatment, then touched up the cut some more.

Toralei was one of my favorite characters and dolls in G1, and it’s been driving me crazy that her G3 doll wasn’t showing up in Canada. With articulated torso, elbows, wrists and knees, Toralei is capable of dynamic posing for play and display purposes.
