The longevity and projection on this frag is suprisingly low and I had no chemistry with this scent, yet I think many men will love this and find it very alluring and loveable, and I think women will find this sexy also - perhaps between the sheets during the hot months.

Alone Chic, we are very similar to the first 212, just a little more pleasant, and I dare say noble . This perfume is doing great, even in 2022, Longevity easy 7-8 hours on skin with 5 sprays, on clothes even longer, Sillage and Projection are moderate to good, projects strongly (3-5 feet) within 3 hours after I pulled the trigger, signature worthy. It starts citrusy and spicy, a bit sweet too (a bit feminine), then after 10 or 20 minutes it dries down to a very masculine, dry scent (a lot of cinnamon), that is not excessively heavy or warm. it is nice scent, opening with " lemony " watermelon, after a while I feel it somewhat powdery, maybe the pepper is the reason, I don't know really. The drydown is just a vague fizzy wood that is very similar to the fizzy goodness of Moschino Uomo (a much cheaper and equally great fume) - great for teens and those young at heart!I don't really perceive the heart note of pepper and cinnamon, but it's quite possible that these notes fit in here. Just as in other CH Fragrances (CH Men, CH Privé) the longevity is just not there after the original release.

The longevity is moderate at around 6-7 hours and sillage is also moderate giving a nice scent bubble of 4-6 feet. It begins with notes of watermelon, crisp citruses and cardamom and gets warmer with cinnamon and pepper. I didn’t think this fragrance projected very far but that compliment came from someone that was like 10ft away from me.The atomizer s not so good , some times works fine , but not as satisfying as any fragrance I had tested, Herrera for men has very good and much better atomizer for example, I don't like the cap either, it just cover the atomizer, but doesn't stick at its place , so you can't lift the bottle up . The smell of the perfume is comfortable for the nerves, pleasant, you can not get bored of it, very elegant, easy to wear, a perfume that stands in the middle between the classic sharp perfumes, and the modern sweet perfumes. Throughout, it is unobtrusive, warm, slightly sweet in an ungourmandy way, and especially the first few hours fresh, without being a "citric". Whenever I come back to this one, the chemical smell of the initial spray topnotes make me dare hope that it's finally gone off and I have an excuse to just throw it out. The hint of watermelon and cardamom bomb in the opening always boost my mood and the bergamont, lemon and mandarin notes in the background make it feel more fresh and clean.

It smells better in small amount, the body product like deodorant stick smells better than the EDT - much cleaner smelling. It would be a direct competitor to Bleu De and Sauvage especially in it's older formulation when it was a lot more potent. Posting a review here after smelling the initial blast of Dolce and Gabbana Pour Femme Intense and being transported back to 2002. So , I like the smell, I think it is a casual scent , suits day and night , all seasons specially autumn and spring.

It opens up with like fresh citrusy and watermelon , after about 15 minutes it changes like slightly spicy pepper and cinnamon in the background , then dry down is sweet musky. Chic is another excellent men's cologne by Carolina Herrera who mastered the art of blending both citrusy notes with spicy/woodsy notes to create a unique high quality frag.
