About this deal

Working on its smart meter campaign to encourage people to get a smart meter installed, she said living in a ‘big old farmhouse’ has meant her bills were something to fear more than a demon with a penchant for throwing sharp objects. The episode ends with Yvette and Karl holding one last vigil in part of the museum, which was dressed up to look like a military dental surgery, but the investigation was cut short when Yvette let out an almighty and prolonged scream, and ran from the building with a worried Karl following.

They also provided family accommodation – but it was far from luxurious. Groups of ten or more people lived together in small, dark, dank rooms. They had no ventilation and with the stench of fish oil lamps, stale rubbish and the contents of chamber pots emptied into the streets, living conditions must have been almost intolerable. In a 2004 three-night investigation of Most Haunted Live in Essex, a possessed Derek turns threatening towards host Yvette Fielding in The Thorn Hotel. Seemingly entered by the spirit of a man called Francis, who seems to have immense difficulty in recalling his surname, and dislikes Fielding’s attempts to uncover it. Until the fifteenth century we depend on tradition for our knowledge of the people who owned Aberglasney. From that point onwards the property was sold to a different family roughly at the start of each new century and a strange seesaw pattern of wealth alternating with misfortune emerging. It wasn't long before the vaults also became the worldly haunt of a collection of the city's rogues, villains, prostitutes – and murderers.

In 2016 the team conducted an all night investigation at a 13th century property which is said to be haunted by a grey lady and ghostly singing. Knowing that Acorah and Fielding were not exactly on friendly terms by now, one does wonder how much of this confrontation really came from the ghost of Francis. Even now, it still makes some uncomfortable viewing. While the team were investigating the ghostly goings on at the Ancient Ram Inn, a former pub in Wotton-under-Edge with the reputation as the most haunted in the UK, Stuart had his biggest scare to date. One of the most famous, Christopher de Moresby, fought at Agincourt and was honoured on the field with other knights by King Henry. Four generations of de Moresby later, Anne, Sir Christopher's great grand-daughter was sole heiress. She married Sir Francis Weston, who was executed by King Henry VIII, along with Queen Anne Boleyn and another of her alleged paramours. The map includes the 243 locations in all the regular Most Haunted episodes and the 35 locations that feature in ' Midsummer Murders' episodes. It also shows the 144 locations where the team have broadcasted from as part of their Most Haunted Live! events. Taking into account investigations spread across more than one episode, episodes featuring multiple locations, and repeat visits across the regular series, live shows and spin-off series that's a total of 400 locations.

The vaults were sealed off and completely abandoned in 1815 and weren't rediscovered until 1985 - and since then, numerous ghostly sightings and experiences have been reported. The crew member told Acorah that the information he was being given was not to be used during filming as there was no sign of Kafer in the prison records. This is the team's first ever investigation which they originally filmed as a pilot and then presented as the 16th episode. They would go on to investigate the location again for the 100th episode. The history of the hotel is not well documented but there are many stories of murders, suicides and massacres. Ther For someone who has made a massive career out of creating content that scares the bejesus out of viewers, it’s slightly settling to learn the extent to which Yvette is freaked out of spirits herself. The name Moresby is likely to have derived from a connection with a settler (probably called Morisceby, Mawriceby or Moricebi) as early as 1150. Little more happens throughout the two-hour séance, but it has gone down in British TV history as one of the crasser attempts at entertainment.

Overlooking the Cumbrian fells, Moresby Hall has been home to many noble families since the 12th Century - it is the oldest residence in the Copeland borough (West Cumbria) and a Grade I listed building. Featuring a celebrity guest team of Scott Mills, Mark Chapman, Laura Sayers and Neil Sloan from BBC Radio 1's afternoon show. Nearby fields still carry the memories with names such as Cae Tranc (field of vengeance) and Cae'r Ochain (groaning field). The grounds include a large wooded area with ruins that play host to ghost sightings of sailors and monks. The teams three-part investigation of a huge grade II listed building in Staffordshire proved to be one of their most active yet. All three parts are worth a watch, but it was in the second episode that viewers were wowed by the building.

Temperature fluctuations from extreme cold to uncomfortable heat are found throughout the structure. Furniture and doors have been heard moving and the sounds of shuffling footsteps are common. The documents are missing, but Bishop Rudd is generally thought to have acquired the Aberglasney estate sometime around 1600. The house stayed in the family until 1710 when accumulated debts forced Sir Rice, the Bishop's grandson, to sell the estate to Robert Dyer. His grandson Robert Archer Dyer inherited in 1752 but already Aberglasney was once again draining the family coffers and finally Aberglasney was put up for sale in 1798. When Series 12 aired, it was mixed in with an 8 part mini series entitled Most Haunted USA. The 8 episodes in the mini series later became known as Series 13

London is the destination for Yvette Fielding and the Most Haunted team where fear, dread and eerie dopple-gangers await in the most famous tourist attraction in the world. The attraction has a long and diverse history beginning life in France in the 1700’s – Marie Tussaud, nee Grosholtz, learnt her wax modelling arts from Dr Philippe Curtius, a physician and skilled wax modeller, for whom her mother was housekeeper. On his death, he left his waxwork collection to Marie. By 1835 she was established in London. “The Chamber of Horrors” became one of the first and most popular attractions. Despite success, Madame Tussaud, gained a reputation for being unsmiling and penny-inching. She died in 1850, but her legacy lived on via her sons. The business continued to prosper and by 1884, her grandsons had moved the exhibit to its current location on Marylebone Road. The stories of paranormal occurrences that cling to the attraction and its many exhibits were reason enough for Most Haunted to come and investigate
