About this deal

Jake Honeychurch, owner of his Nanna's home therefore Ella's hope for her new career, didn't want to sell, but circumstances were against him. So when Ella had an offer well below the listed price, she wasn't surprised by the owner's response. Water Under The Bridge by Britney King started out as a solo novel. Now, it will be a trilogy, but each book can stand alone. I am so happy. seeing the plastech team combined with ORO actually going to gaya island! maybe as a bonus chapter????? The book is split into five parts including the kill, the killers, the police investigation, the trial, and information on what has happened since. This is a harrowing story of teenagers, mainly girls – 6 girls, and 1 boy murdering another teenager. The circumstances and the lives of these people are stranger than any fiction book could recreate. The why Reena Virk was killed could have been for several reasons and some are given in the book.

The romance side of Booktok has a reputation for just talking about spice in books and I was worried that this would only be filled with sexual tension and spicy scenes but I was pleasantly surprised to know that this is actually a slow burn and nothing spicy happens until around the 60% mark.Jake Honeychurch has two brothers and has grown up in this town he runs the family farm and hardware store and he is left in charge of selling his Nanna’s house, a house that means a lot to him and he is not overly keen on selling but he needs to put it on the market this brings him to Ella new to her job at the local real estate and Jake chooses her to sell the house maybe this was fate. Jake learns that Ella is one determined Lady and he is drawn to her and her son in a way he never thought to happen again. i love that we got luca's pov because you know instantly that he cannot stop thinking about avery and he is definitely an obsessed boy AND HE FALLS FIRST! while avery hates him and thinks the worst of him lmao. it's definitely that one-sided rivalry where the fmc only thinks they have a rivalry ♡ and he's always thinking ways to be close to her and!!! i love their little bets and games THEY WERE SO CUTEEE luca navarro really is the MAN HE'S IT MY FRIENDS.

This may be the craziest book I have ever read! No joke. It was not at all what I thought it would be, but trust me, I am not complaining. I find myself falling for these terribly flawed human beings and using the word flawed is putting it mildly! I want a happy ever after for these cold blooded killers. Overall such a good book, I have no doubt this will take booktok by storm. It does have some really sought after tropes, in addition to a nicely flushed out story with dynamic characters. Apart from spending her days writing, Kels enjoys long hikes and watching cult-classic scary movies. This was really good for a debut and it took me by surprise how much I actually enjoyed it given that the authors are from tiktok.Godfrey's portraits are complex and unsentimental… A homicide is best told as a story, and this marvelous book makes this very clear." The front hall light had been left on for him which would mean sixpence would be added to the rent. The house had a peculiar smell of old carpet, frying and stale beer. The vestibule was a slight cut above the neighbours', with threadbare carpeting rather than lino. There was a lithograph of 'Hope' crouched blindfold in despair over the globe of the world, and a framed mirror that had tarnished into golden measles. On the fumed-oak dropleaf table was a bowl of dusty wax grapes that looked like tumours and a china Tyrolean couple probably won at Luna park years ago. Mrs Chauncey reluctantly took telephone messages and one or two of these were propped up against the grapes. One read 'Neil'.

Avery Soko, a bright-eyed and ambitious do-gooder, is on the cusp of getting her dream fundraising job at the Oceanic Research Organization. Luca Navarro, a former corporate lawyer with an extravagant tie collection and an irritatingly handsome smirk, holds Avery's future in his very large hands. When he calls with the news of her rejection, Luca seems to revel in crushing her dreams. If you asked the men why they didn’t believe the story, they would answer quite logically. This was Victoria, British Columbia, a small island in the Pacific Northwest famed for it’s natural beauty and easygoing lifestyle. Young girls did not get murdered in Victoria. Girls in this town, they grew up unharmed. They shopped at Hillside Mall, attended schools named after politicians and war heroes. Girls lived safely on streets named after trees and explorers. Girls may have been murdered in the closest big cities of Vancouver and Seattle; in these cities murders were common and no one would be surprised to hear the story of a young girl brutally murdered. But girls did not die young here on this idyllic island, a sheltered paradise. Gos never before had been asked to investigate the murder of a young girl. Blind and feeling everything, Bob Wall touched the sand with a single hand. His other hand held tight to the rope. Two members of the Dive Unit sank with him, keeping the rope as taut as they possibly could, holding on with both hands, holding tight. Avery?” He sprints over to me. “What happened? Are you hurt?” He puts his arm around my shoulders and, in a sudden motion, scoops me up under the knees as though I were weightless like a wise woman once said that's hot ok so i loved this, i ate this up!!! luca had me swooning y’all — like WHAT, he was honestly one of my favourite grumpy men i think, giving me grumpy but smooth, suave and just held this confidence about him wowoweeee Avery got kinda annoying in the middle of the book for some reason. I couldn't get over how she was way too competitive. But I eventually liked her more by the end.

Elliott remained in the United States for the remainder of his life, commencing a literary career in 1963 with his autobiographical novel "Careful He Might Hear You", which won the Miles Franklin Award and was subsequently made into a film. He published ten novels in total, several of which dealt with issues from his own childhood and experiences in Australia before the War. Although he increasingly developed a following among Australian readers, Elliott remained uncomfortable with his country of birth, in no small part due to his homosexuality, which had marked him out for difference during his youth. He spent his final years in New York City, dying of cancer in 1991.

What They're Saying:

Ella Davenport's first listing in the small town of Chalk Hill was a big old home she was keen to sell. The owner wouldn't return her calls, so she prepared the best she could, cleaning out the house - even enlisting her ten year old son Sam to help - much to his disgust. I love the cover for Water Under The Bridge by Britney King. She designed it herself. It looks like it could be for a paranormal/supernatural novel, but this is so much better. We have not one, but two serial killers!!! And one is female!!! The is a love story like none I have ever read before. I want to start by saying that it’s so fun seeing content creators who you’ve grown to love because of their love for books become authors
